I was lucky enough to live in Italy when I was a kid, for several years, and have had the good fortune to return many times since. Thereís more history in Italy than you can shake a stick at, the food is fabulous, and the people are wonderful. Of all the trips to Italy, this most recent one has been the most special. I spent 10 days with my daughter, just Jen and I, and two digital cameras. Between us we took over 1,100 pictures and handful of videos! No, youíre not going to see them all, but I will share some of the highlights.
Before I start, please understand that travel decisions (where to go and what to do) are very personal. One personís pleasure can be anotherís torture, and returning to a place youíve been many time before is different than going to a place for the first time. Thereís no right or wrong way to have a vacation. On this trip our only agenda was to enjoy each otherís company by sharing the experience of travel. We didnít try to see everything or do everything, because the best way to leave a place is wanting to return to enjoy more.
We present to you now our Travel Awards.
