This is a hard call because every hotel we stayed at was friendly and eager to help us. They all let us leave our luggage under their watchful eyes after we checked out so we could enjoy more of the city more we had to catch the next train. They all were happy to recommend good places to eat. And they all made us feel welcome. The folks at the Hotel Bel Sito in Venice did it all with just a little more enthusiasm than anyone else.
They also get the award for the best hotel Internet site. I especially liked the ”follow-the-moving-yellow-ball-to-the hotel”
was a little goofy, and the bathroom
was a tad small, but we loved the chandelier
, the view from our window of the church across the street was awesome, and we enjoyed the walk from the vaporetto
stop along the narrowest street
we’d ever seen!
This was a fun place to stay.
