Well here is my third quilt from your book, and I'm still having a so much fun. I decided to do a yellow "Zig Zag Zoom" for a friend's first child. And of course why use one yellow when you can use 6 (I love scrappy). I also substituted diagonals of 4 patches periodically just too add a few more pictures. Then my daughter helped me find A - Z things in the quilt which I quilted into the boarder — very quick and fun. I used to feel compelled to put solids in my picture quilts, but you've inspired me to use the colors in the novelty fabrics themselves and maximize the number of pictures. This of course has led to a significant increase in my stash of novelties but they haven't taken over yet. Thanks again for such a wonderful (and fun) book.
