My quilt won a blue ribbon at the Sanoma County Fair! I call it "Quilt Blocks Fly Past My Window in My Dreams." It was an interesting "set" for the blocks as the background fabric was a horizontal design in which I had to draft the perimeter of the block so that during the twist the background would stay horizontal. It is difficult to see in the picture, but the sashing is an "Attic Window" set… The binding encompasses a "ribbon" of folded fabric in the rainbow fabric that the blocks are made of…As you can tell, I used the dimensional center to help create movement in the block…See how your babies grow up?
